This course provides undergraduate nursing students with theoretical knowledge and practical experience in promoting and ensuring child health within early childhood education settings. Students will explore the role of the preschool health coordinator (school nurse) in preventive healthcare, health education, and collaboration with educators, parents, and healthcare institutions.

apply key preventive healthcare strategies to protect children's well-being
work collaboratively with educators and preschool staff to integrate health and hygiene practices into daily activities
develop and conduct age-appropriate health education for children and provide training for preschool staff on relevant healthcare topics
maintain accurate health documentation, analyze health data, and prepare reports
monitor and recommend improvements for sanitary and hygienic conditions in preschool settings
