The course deals with the activities of the Catholic Church in Croatia and the Croatian lands during the 20th century. century. The above implies the state, activity and position of the church hierarchy and believers during the existence of the Kingdom of Serbs, Croats and Slovenes, the Kingdom of Yugoslavia, the Independent State of Croatia, the Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia and the Republic of Croatia. International aspects of the activities of the Catholic Church in Croatia and Croatian countries during the mentioned period will also be taken into account. The central emphasis of the course will be on political and social phenomena and occurrences.
1. Master basic concepts from history of Catholic Church in Croatia during 20th Century; 2. Recognize fundamental processes and role of Catholic Church in political and social events during 20th Century; 3. Recognize the hierarchy of historical factors and explain the causality of historical processes; 4. Critically analyze and interpret sources and literature; 6. Write a clear and structured paper. |

Popis preporučene dodatne literature polaznici će dobiti sukladno
temama seminarskog rada.
1. Regular attendance at classes – attendance of at least 70 % of classes according to the study program.
2. Fully completed seminar obligations - prepared and submitted assignments (seminar paper).
3. Obtaining a minimum success rate of 35 % during classes within the assigned teaching activities - achieved cumulatively.
- Teaching activities (continuous knowledge assessment, midterm exams, seminar).
Final exam (oral).

insufficient (1) – 0 to 49.9%
sufficient (2) – 50–64.9%
good (3) – 65–79.9%
very good (4) – 80–89.9%
excellent (5) – 90% and above.
a) Teaching activities:
- Seminar obligations – 20 % of the grade
- Midterm exam 1 – 25 % of the grade
- Midterm exam 2 – 25 % of the grade
b) Final exam:
- Final exam – oral: 30 % of the grade (to pass, it is necessary to solve at least 50% of the exam)
